Many Christians reject evolution because they believe if you disprove one word of scripture then the whole thing is false.

Many other Christians reject that Sola Scriptura teaching such as myself. I think you made a good attempt at trying to teach evolution. I hope you are successful. Despite being a Christian, I believe, it is all evolution.
